This is an application that dynamically serves the most recent prices for a company that has hundreds of products. This company spent many man hours updating price lists in numerous areas including the web site, Excel spreadsheets, and more. By putting all the prices in a database a changed price needs to be entered only once and is automatically updated everywhere on the web site. A master online price list was also created using this technology so the web page could be printed out, again necessitating only one update.
